She was .the mother 0f tvvo sons and three daughters and a widow of the late Niels Borren a pioneer of this city -and Mount Pleasant. Mrs. Borresen was Dorn September Septem-ber 17lh, 1353 in Oslo, Kristiania r.orway. At the age of nineteen she came to this country. in 1889 she married Niels Borresen in the Endowment House, Salt Lake Cit". Survlvng are the following children: chil-dren: Joseph Cruso, Phillip Burre-sen, Burre-sen, both of St. Anthony, Idaho; Airs. L. A. Brady of Eureka- Mrs' Ed. Johnston of kc. Peasant and Mrs. Mary Schofield of Spring City. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren and six creat' grandchildren. Mrs. Borresen for many years sang in the Scandinavian choir. Funerai services were held Thursday Thurs-day at 1 p. m. in the ward chapel. The opening prayer was offered by Jens J. fcorensen. The choir under tne duecion of Ernest Terry sang, "Sometime We'll Understand," "O My Father," and "There is a Home Eternal." The speakers were Daniel Jensen, Margaret Csborn, James P. Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Vivian Larsen and Bishop Ellis. Benediction was by Elizabeth Eliza-beth Larsen and the grave was dedicated ded-icated by Mr. Anderson. |
