Doesnt it seem like this event occurs the sophomores continuing their winning streak from last year. Next years game could be interesting. If the freshmen end up with the same team as sophomores, they might just prove that they should have won this game. grass is greener on the other side Dixie Sun our parents how when we turned 18 we were moving out of their house and getting our own place so we could have whatever rules and curfew throughout our every time we wanted? Tell ya what I would move back into my parents house in a heartbeat if it meant not having to do my own laundry (and pay for it or live off any more new potato creations from the cafeteria. Now I must say that cafeteria food isnt all that bad, but there are only so many days that I can handle eating chicken strips and mashed potatoes over and over. Maybe if we start to look at things with a more positive attitude, and not dwell on all the negatives, wed enjoy things a lot more. Like the fact that those of us living in the dorms have more variety than those of you livwho eat ing Ramen noodles for every meal, or those interesting creations you create with those stoves and whatever you can find in the cupboard. We always take things in life for granted. Life itself would mean so much more if wed look at it in a more positive way. We never fully realize how great life is, or the situation in which we live is, until it changes, whether its from death, friendships or moving. With Mutombo in the middle now, it would be hard to stop the immense defense of the New Jersey Nets Basketball tryouts next Thursday For the Dixie Sun Tryouts for the DSC mens basketball team will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, in the Burns Arena beginning at 7 p.m. This is a chance for students to become part of a team that will be defending the national championship this year, said assistant coach Ryan Burke.
