Ford Hilltop Times staff The base Military Working Dog section went up against the best in the civilian sector Aug. 6 and captured several medals in the Utah Police Olympics. For the competition, each team is made of a dog and a han- dler, and each team is put through a test of its abilities in events like explosive detection, drug Hilltop Times online detection, building search, felony traffic stop and the Tough Dog. In the Tough Dog event, the dog is expected to control and detain an adversary or intruder. Hill's team consisted of SSgt. Joe Williams III and dog, Chico, SrA. Justin DuMond and dog, Flip, SrA.
