Ballots must be returned to the CC office by Nov. 2. On the ballot are 10 to be elected including new directors, incumbents, and appointees. Media Meet Educators, librarians, technicians tech-nicians and others interested in effective education will gather on Brigham Young University campus Nov. 5 for the 4th annual an-nual Educational Media Symposium. Sym-posium. Geared to the theme "Individualizing Instruction in the 70's the conference will open for rgistration at 8 a.m. and continue all day. Inaddition to instructional in-structional sessions, displays and demonstrations of latest methods and equipment will be on hand. Special guest for the symposium sym-posium will be Dr. Sterling M. McMurrin, chairman of the Commission Com-mission on Instructional Technology Tech-nology and Dean of the Graduate School of theUniversity of Utah. He is particularly concerned with educational methods in America today. His commission's commis-sion's report to President Nixon and Congress is concerned with the "gap between the outside world and the school." The symposium sym-posium will be devoted to narrowing nar-rowing this gap by exposing the educational possibilities of communications com-munications media. The morning schedule will feature over 33 sessions of instruction in-struction to demonstrate the importance im-portance of individualized education, edu-cation, including demonstrations on instructional objectives, cybernetic instructional systems, sys-tems, effective use of photography photo-graphy and picture: Appointees include Ernest Evans of Evans Signs; Duane Herbert of Boley Realty, Henry Huish of U.S.Steel,Douglas Marriott Mar-riott of Mariott Enterprises; Ron Wilkinson of Ron's Family Restaurant; Rest-aurant; and Walt Windus ofSlg-netics. ofSlg-netics. Incumbents running for second three-year terms are Gilbert Jensen of Utah Valley Builders, and Blaine Webb of Deseret Federal. Fed-eral.
