Show By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Bishop Larry Fletcher, wife Glenna and sons Richard and Bryce, as well as John and Ramona Morre-ale Morre-ale went to the St. George LDS Temple Saturday for Ward Temple day. A number of the young people peo-ple went also for baptisms. Later, Larry and Glenna visited her parents, par-ents, Clement and Marie Broderick. John Morreale received his own LDS Temple endowments, and it was a special day for him and his family. Certificates of Achievement were presented to the following LDS Young Ladies: Charlene Moss, Shantel Henrie, Charlee Ott, Micki Thompson, Sylvana Leslie and Carla Hayden. Congratulations, Congratula-tions, girls. Clele Fletcher attended Sunday School and LDS Sacrament meeting meet-ing in his home Ward with wife, Marva and daughter, Rosemary, on Mother's Day. Bishop Larry Fletcher and his counselors Melvin Beard and Marty Rich were the speakers in LDS Sacrament Meeting. (See CANNONVILLE on page 5-A) CANNONVILLE From Page 2-A Joe and Rae Hughes went to Cedar City on Monday, then went over there again on Saturday to attend the Southern Utah University graduation exercises. Their grandchildren, grand-children, Mitchell and Jessica Lit-tlefield Lit-tlefield were among the graduates. Ed and Kay Dunham took their uncle Merwin Dunham to Wen-dover, Wen-dover, Nev., for a couple of days to celebrate his birthday. Mel and Phyllis Beard visited relatives in Provo and attended the baptism of a granddaughter, Keala Kau. Visitors at the Beard home were Dick and Karen Myers of Camp Verde, Ariz. They are longtime long-time friends. Karen and Phyllis worked in the Young Women's organization together. They en-. en-. joyed seeing the scenes of our beautiful beau-tiful surrounding country. All of Howard and Dorothy Leavitt's children visited them over the Mother's Day weekend. Those who came were Howard Jr. and Annette An-nette Leavitt of Kaysville; Richard and Lou Jean Leavitt of Las Vegas; Launa West and son, Bryce and his friend Toran, West Jordan; and Wally and Kelly Lee and children, Joyce, Steven, Brendan, Chris and Cory Leo of Panguitch. They report re-port that they had a wonderful time together. Vaughn, Mae, Arjean and Cher-lyn Cher-lyn Twitchell were joined by Doug and Tammy Twitchell and family and Karl and Lori Munford and family, fam-ily, all of Cedar City, for a Mother's Day barbecue at Cannon-ville Cannon-ville Park. |
