Jim and Vera Dodds and children and Mrs. Mae Dodds visited over the weekend In Page with the W. C. Dodds family. Visiting with Elizabeth Orton for Mother's Day were the Lin-ford Ortons of Cedar City, the Cecil Ortons and Lola and Hatch Farnsworth of Delta, Emma D. and Bob Houston of Kanab. The Senior class of PHS has left on a trip to California and will Include Disneyland In the trip. Ralph Veater drove the school bus, chaperoning the students are Darlene Veater, Marilyn Veater, Alden Black, Nyle and Liz McFarlane. Don and Faye Rosenberg and son Craig of Tooele visited with her mother, Bell Cooper over the weekend. The Cecil Church's of Calif, visited with Mrs. Cooper during the week. Frankle and Fred Parker of Pleasant Grove came down to spend Mother's Day with her mother, Ida Webb. Going up to Orem this Thursday to attend the funeral services for John M. Talbot, 81, are Amelia and Lana Wood-ard, Lula Dickinson, Bessie Talbot and Helen Wright. Alan Talbot is leaving for Vietnam instead of Korea as reported last week. Robert and Hetta Green and two daughters of Inglewood, Calif, spent last weekend at the home of her parents, the Vernon Reids, then went on to Bountiful to visit his parents and attended the wedding of his brother Richard in the Salt Lake Temple on Tuesday. They also visited her sisters, Carol Ann and Francis Spencer and Rosemary and Jay Christensen at Salt Lake and Granger. They returned here to spend Mother's Day; joining them for a family dinner at the Reld home were the Gordon Reid family of Richfield, and LaVen-da and Kirk Moore and family. A baby shower for Zlna M. LeFevre will be given by Nila Alger at the home of Dot Man-gum on May 15. Dr. Sterling K. Tebbs and friend Jean McCardy of Los Angeles visited for a week at the home of his parents, the W. C. Tebbs. Lora Dawn and Wesley Hall of Salt Lake City spent the Mother's Day weekend with her parents, the LaVerl Davises. Amelia and Marva Woodard and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Woodard attended funeral services In Moscow, Idaho on May 6th for Lewis Woodard, son of Freeda and the late Dawson Woodard, who was killed while working for the telephone company when the back hoe he was operating rolled over with him. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Smith . made a trip to Salt Lake. The Rulon Veatert have returned from three weeks up north where she received medical care. Margaret Hardy and children of Kanab spent Sunday with the Veaters. |
