Goddard, has been seriously: wounded on the battlefield of France. , i was received this morning by Ihe boy's! father. The first news of the wound-j led man came to his wife, Mrs. Albert 1 W. Goddard of Salt Lake. The notice j 'was direct from a Red Cross base hos- i pital in lA-ance. The telegram states i ' t that the wound is in the head. H. H.j 'Goddard says that the details so farj i have not been received excepting that (the wound is of a serious nature. 1 Albert W. Goddard entered the ser- 1 vice a year ago last October, and has I been in France practically a year. He 'has been engaged in actual fighting ! since July 10th.
