P. Lewis presiding, it was decided that the road north from. Milford to Cove Fort be kept in good condition condi-tion with road signs and culverts installed. ,P. B. McKeon had extended an invitation to all Sunday School ft organizations in the county to visit Roosevelt Hot springs at any time. He said that kiddies could swim in the pool free of charge and have the use of the phonograph phono-graph in case they desired to dance. A Lions club committee , composed com-posed of D. E. Kirk, W. F. Miller and M. H. Pool, had got busy : and decided on a location for a ; tourist camp ground which was ! to be located just north of the Martin garage. With the help of i the Scouts the place was cloered , and a very good camping place established. Mrs. J. H. Weston had entertained enter-tained at a lawn party in honor of the ninth birth anniversary of her son Jack. Fourteen little guests enjoyed games, dancing : and refreshments. Mrs. Maurice Johnson had been hostess to the D. D. S. club with Mrs. Warren Atkin, Mrs. Jack McCann, Mrs. Walter Griffiths, Mrs. Ross Lang and Mrs. Sam Hickman being present. Miss Ardath Johnson, Miss Lila Stanley, Mrs. Vena Wilson, La-Mar La-Mar Outzen, Walter Weber and Elam Foutz had motored to Lund and Cedar City in the Foutz sedan. se-dan. The P. H. C. had been pleasantly pleasant-ly entertained at the home of Mrs. L. G. Clay. Those present were Mrs. Ralph Quayle, Mrs. John McKeon, Mc-Keon, Mrs. Charles Ford, Mrs. J. C. Smith, Mrs. George . Moore, Mrs. Ross Smith, Mrs. M. P. Lewis, Miss Ardath Johnson, Mrs. J. H. Weston, Mrs. Antone Johnson, John-son, Mrs. William Fernley and Miss Lila Stanley. Mr. and Mrs. William Cochrane had entertained July 7, in honor of the 17th birthday of their son Wjilliam. The young people were taken to the Willows, north of town, where they enjoyed a weiner roast and games. The invited guests were Olive Johnson, Han-nora Han-nora Hutehins, Myrtle Osborn, Dorothy Murdock, Jessie Hickman, Hick-man, Elma Hickman, Pauline Van-Wormier, Van-Wormier, Verna Bird, Margaret Cochrane, Reba Korns, Lyle Mc-Ghie, Mc-Ghie, Paul Armour, Lawrence Webb, LeRoy Van Wormer, Glen Stonehocker, Tom James and Milton Mil-ton Hearn. |
