Show M ; Pheasants Are Planted Jack Miller, president ot the Milford Wildlife Protective association, asso-ciation, reported Tuesday the planting that afternoon of 140 half-grown pheasants, furnished by the state fish and game department de-partment from the game farm north of Springville. The .birds were turned loose in the vicinity of the old Bybce farm, which has been declared a bird sanctuary. In this connection, it might be well to remind the public that "to pursue or molest" game birds in a closed area or during a closed season is as unlawful as to hunt with a gun; and those who are disposed to train their dogs in this manner might well keep this in mind. |
