Show By Ella Adair 679-8648 The Clive Bybees had all of their children and grandchildren home for the 4th of July weekend. Quoting Thelma "We sure had a houseful and you could hear them all over town." Larry and Carol Adair spent the weekend with his mother, Ella Adair and enjoyed the 4th of July in Tropic. Herman Pollock made a trip to Missouri and visited with his son, Gale Pollock while there. Gale is retiring and will make his home in Tropic. Giovonna Sudweeks spent a few days in Garfield Memorial Hospital this past week. We are happy to see her home and feeling better. EvaDean Francisco finally made it home following a week long stay in the hospital. She hopes to soon be able to take care of her Bed and Breakfast business. Christy Grimmer was graduated from LDS Primary and welcomed into the MIA. Alexis Skye small daughter of David and Cherie Tebbs received her name and blessing bless-ing from her father in LDS Sacrament Sacra-ment on Sunday. It is good to see Mitchell Little-field Little-field home from his mission. He gave his report to the Tropic LDS Ward in Sacrament meeting. There were many out-of-town friends and relatives attending the wedding reception Saturday evening for the Ausun Litllefields. The Ira Littlcficlds were happy to have their daughters, Rose Salerno and Linda Bailey home for the weekend and attend the Little-field Little-field wedding. The Kim Ott and Lloyd Olt families fam-ilies spent the 4th of July weekend with the Wallace Otts. Ivan Clarke visited with the Lester Clarkes. He brought two granddaughters, daughters of Dian Lamb and Wesley Clarke home for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Pollock and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Jensen were in Tropic visiting. Christy Salerno, San Diego, Calif, visited with the Ira Littlefield and brought their new granddaughter granddaugh-ter to give them an opportunity to get acquainted. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jolley received re-ceived word that they have twin great-granddaughters born to Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jolley. Henry and LaVerne Jolley are the proud grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Bryce, former residents at Bryce Canyon, visited with friends in Tropic and said to tell everyone hello for them. LaFaun Pollock attended the Enoch Reynolds family reunion held at Tropic Reservoir July 8. Ella Adair was hostess to the adult family home evening group at her home on Monday evening. The Obie and June Shakespear family will hold their reunion at Tropic Park the weekend of July 16. Marian Mecham had all of her children home for the Shakespear reunion. Vard Shakespear is visiting with the E.R. Shakespear. He is presently making his home in New Zealand with wife, Nicki and three children. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Ott made a trip to Salt Lake for Stan to have medical care. Minnie Nielsen accompanied ac-companied them and then went on to Hcber City to spend a week with her sister's family. Margaret Mecham spent a week in West Valley City with her daughter, Nancy Hubncr. Margie Mecham made a trip north and brought her home. Jim and Donna Nichol, Ohio, spent an afternoon visiting with their aunt Ella Adair and enjoying the beauty of the area. |
