Wind, high temperatures tem-peratures and no rain is a combination that can become catastrophic catas-trophic during thunderstorms. Loni Nelson of Cannonville has joined the Bryce Canyon Natural History Association staff as a part time employee. A number of yards at the Bryce Canyon housing area are looking quite nice due to the efforts of Jeffrey Jef-frey Slock. His yard work business is proving to be popular and prof itable. Odile Goret, a Student Conservation Conser-vation Aide, is near the. end of her appointment. She will be greatly missed, not only for her enthusiastic demeanor, but also for her ability to speak French, German, and English. En-glish. Odile plans to go to Mexico to live and learn Spanish before she heads back to her native country of France. A Student Conservation Aide high school crew is busily doing much needed fence work in the park. They are spending three weeks in Bryce Canyon on the fence project. |
