This amazing couple in jungle fatigues helps keep us aware of the lighter side of soldier activities in a war zone. Specialist Dolan's sketches of U.S. Army soldiers in Vietnam were inspired during dur-ing fourteen weeks of living with the troops in the Republic Re-public of Vietnam. Dolan, no newcomer to combat, has served In World War II and Korea during his eighteen 1 years of military service. From 1961 to 1965, he was art director for the magazine maga-zine "Army in Europe," published pub-lished by the Public Affairs Division of the U. S. Army, Europe. In 1965, he was named the "most talented cartoonist in the Armed Forces" by the National Cartoonist Car-toonist Society. Sp William J. Dclaa Specialist Dolan is presently pres-ently assigned to the U.S. Army Command Information Unit, Washington, D.C.
