Show Mr. and Mrs. John W. Myers and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gardner were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Gardner Gard-ner at their home in Salt Lake City on New Year's day. Mr. and Mrs. Merrick Munger returned re-turned Wednesday to their home in Sparks, Nevada, after spending the Christmas holidays here with Mrs. ' Munger's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Baker. A fine baby girl arrived on New Year's day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Birk, over which the parents are greatly rejoicing. Mrs. Birk was before her marriage, Miss Edna Moore of Payson. All concerned con-cerned are doing very nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Peterson of McGill, Nevada, spent the Christmas and New Year holidays here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George S. Peterson in Lehi, and Mr. and Mrs John E. Berg of this city. Mr. Peterson Peter-son returned to McGill Thursday morning, hut Mrs. Peterson remained for an extended visit. A delightful "watch" party of the holiday week was given New Year's Eve at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Grant. Games, radio music and lunch were the entertaining features of the evening. Those in attendance were: Dr. and Mrs. James M. Grant! and daughters, Dorothy and Merma, M'r. and Mrs. C. A. Grant, Mrs. A. F. j Smith and son, Lyman, and Mrs. Lor-ena Lor-ena Peterson and son, Grant. Francis Abel, who is attending the L. D. S. Business College in Salt Lake City, will resume his studies Monday. He has been here visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Abel, during the holiday vacation. Christmits and New Year holiday guests at the home of Mrs. Margaret j Robinson were Dr. and Mrs. H. E. j Robinson of Ogden, and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Zimmerman and family of Eureka. Mrs. Rose H. Grant visited this week in Salt Lake City with relatives rela-tives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Vance and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hess of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday in American Fork with Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Vance. Mrs. David Smith and family of Salt Lake City, were guests on New Year's at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Boley. $ o ? Thomas K.
