Show I American Fork Farm Bureau Organizes Last Saturday night, the American Ameri-can Fork Farm Bureau reorganized and elected its board of directors for the coming year. According to the articles of incorporation, each year some members of the Board of the year previous are held over because of their experience, and some new ones are appointed. Accordingly, at the American Fork meeting, E. J. Clayson, W. J. Chadwick and W. II. Storrs were the hold-overs. The i outgoing men were, John F. Miller and Reed H. Robinson were replaced by John A. Ovard and John ffacklin. President E. J. Clayson gave a report of the work that had been done in the local farm bureau, showing show-ing some very commendable work accomplished in Seed Improvement, Cooperative Buying, Road Improvement, Improve-ment, Weed, Poultry and Dairy work. He also made a brief report of his trip to Chicago to the National Farm Bureau Federation, in which he showed the strength of the Farm Bureau movement and showed that the farmers of the nation were becoming be-coming very well organized. W. J. Thayne gave a summary of the work clone in the county, showing show-ing that the American Fork Farm Bureau had cooperated well with the rest cf the county and had done some very commendable work. L. L. Bunnell, vice-president of the State Farm Bureau, made a report showing that the State Farm Bureau is doing some very good work on the tax problem and the incorpora- tion of the cooperatives with the Farm and that these two projects would take considerable time and effort yet and for their successful completion needed the support of everyone interested in farming in j American Fork and Utah County. |
