The 23-acre Stevens Grove parcel will preserve riverfront access, water quality, agricultural land and wildlife habitat. The Summit County Health Department Coalville lab will be closed the week of May 22-26 for remodeling and expansion. For more information, please contact the Environmental Health program: Phone: 435-333-1511 or Email: summitenviro@summitcounty.org A 40-year-old Park City man who nearly led Summit County deputies and Park City Police officers on a high-speed pursuit sustained a broken leg in the Three Kings area of Park City after crashing his motorcycle, according to the Sheriff’s Office. On Sunday, May 21, a report states a sergeant with the Sheriff’s Office observed two black motorcycles racing on State Road 224. He reportedly attempted to perform a traffic stop on one of the suspects while Park City Police officers attempted to pull over the other bike, with no success. According to the report, the suspect briefly pulled over to the side of the road before accelerating back towards S.R. 224. It says a pursuit was not initiated because of heavy traffic.
