Show ' P.WSON S LION CLUB M ILL RECEIVE CHARTER MARCH 25 - PAY SOX March 19. At a meeting meet-ing Friday night of the charter night committee it was decided j that the Payson Lion club would receive its charter from the nation-1 al organization on March 25. It is expected that Melvin Jones, sec-rotary sec-rotary general from, Chicago, will be present to present the club with the charter. Plans are under way to make a holiday of the affahv A dinner dance will be given in the evening, and, if plans work out, the program will be broadcast over radio. B. F. Ott, chairman of the committee, com-mittee, has named the following as heads of committees,: Dr. L. D. Stewart, dinner; Dr." L. Pfouts, finance; Carl Nelson, music and entertainment; Lee R. Taylor, program; pro-gram; Dr. G. E. Christensen, reception. recep-tion. Melvin Wilson was elected toast-master. toast-master. These members, together with O. C. Nelson and Darrell Brown, constitute the charter night i committee. |
