Show BRYAN JOHNSON Died in Castlegate, Saturday, March 8; buried at Springville, Spring-ville, Saturday, March 15. I . Bryan Johnson, 20-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Johnson of Mnpleton and one of the many victims vic-tims of the tragic mine disaster at the No. 2 mine of the Utah Fuel company at Castlegate Saturday, March S, was laid to final rest in the Evergreen cemetery in Springville Spring-ville Saturday. Funeral services were held in the Mnpleton ward chapel under the direction of L. E. Harmer of the Mnpleton ward bishopric. The Mnpleton quartet rendered several beautiful selections anu soios were rendered by Elmer Bird. The invocation invo-cation was offered by Lovell Mendenhall Men-denhall and the benediction by Bishop "YWIliam T. Tew. A biographical sketch of the young man who met bis death while employed in his. daily labor, was read by Oscar Whiting. The speakers, speak-ers, ali of whom spoke glowingly of the characteristics of the young man, were E. M. Snow, Bishop J. F.' Bringhurst, and Bishop L. A. Nelson. The grave was dedicated by John II. Manwaring. Mr. Johnson is survived by his widow, -Mrs. Hazel Clark Johnson, and a son, Ariel, two years of age; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Johnson, and seven brothers and one sister, Wayne Johnson of Springville, Hugh Johnson of Pay-son, Pay-son, Frank Johnson, Willis Johnson, John-son, Elmer Johnson, Lewis Johnson, John-son, Leland Johnson and Mrs. Parley Par-ley A. Whitney of Mapleton. |
