"Two-for-one- The Environmental Management Directorate, Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), UT, announces the availability of an Environmental Assessment (EA) and proposes a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the expansion and remodeling of the Hess Fitness Center (HFC) at HAFB. This proposed action would provide additional space for many types of sport activities and offices as well as space for conducting tests required to monitor the fitness of military personnel. This project also accomplishes United States Air Force mission objectives. Based on the findings of this EA, no significant environmental impacts are expected from expansion and remodeling of the HFC. Therefore, a FONSI may be issued, and preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement is not necessary. A copy of the document detailing the proposal is available for public examination at the HAFB Information Repository at the Davis County Central Branch Library, Layton, Utah and also at the Environmental Management Directorate, 7274 Wardleigh Rd., HAFB, UT. Comments will be accepted until September 10, 1999. Comments and questions may be directed to Kay Winn, (801) 7274 Wardleigh Rd., Hill AFB, UT 84056-513- r tower rooms, $49 weekday, $79 weekends.
