Show U of U Schedules Driver Training Class Utah's younger generation may be better drivers as a result re-sult of a short course scheduled June 18-22 on the University of Utah' campus. The short intensive course in Driver Education and Traffic Safety will be sponsored by the U of U, the U S A C, and the Utah State Automobile Ass'n. Director will be Prof. Amos E. Neyhart, administrative head, Institute of Public Safety, the Pennsylvania State College and 1 Consultant on Road Training, American Automobile Ass'n. Designed primarily for high school teachers who plan to teach driver education, the course offers IV2 quarter credit hours from either the U of U or U S A C. Anyone who is associated asso-ciated with safety programs and safety education will profit by enrollment. A set of psychophysical devices de-vices used 'for testing will be on hand for demonstration. Certificates will be awarded students who satisfactorily fulfill ful-fill course requirements. Completion Com-pletion of the course will qualify qual-ify a teacher to train students in AAA dual-control automobiles. Tuition fee for the five-day course is $10. The program includes in-cludes several luncheons and a graduation dinner which are not included in the tuition cost. Further information may be obtained by writing the U of U Extension Division, i , |
