Show : i New Penney Manaerer Arrives in Milford . Roland Culver this week assumed as-sumed his new duties as manager man-ager of the J. C. Penney store in Milford. The new manager comes to Utah from Ely, Nev., where he was assistant manager of the Penney store. Mr. Culver is a native of Edgar, Ed-gar, Nebr., but at an early age moved with his parents to Idaho Falls, Idaho. He married the former Amy Ward of Minnesota, in Seattle, and they have five children: Ronnie, 11; David, 10; Martha, 5; Trudy, 5, and Susan, 2. Both Mr. and Mrs. Culver are active civic workers, and enjoy their associati n with the Meth-, Meth-, ci.si Churc:. 11 which Mr. Culver Cul-ver has been a lay leader. Both have been active in P.-T. A., Cub Scout and Boy Scout work. Mr. Culver is a member of the Moose lodge, and Mrs. Culver belongs to the Rebekahs. The newcomers enjoy 'golf (which they won't be able to play in Milford) and square dancing, and have been looking forward to getting acquainted with their new neighbors and business associates in Milford. Mrs. Culver and the children have not yet moved from Ely, but they have purchased the Snelson home, and expect to move soon. |
