Show Accident On Saturday morning last, a couple of lads who were going to meeting, discovered the body of a man at Big Cottonwood creek lying near the stream, with a portion of his body in tho water. Giving notice to the neighbors, the man was taken into a house and cared for. He was insensible insens-ible and remained eo nearly all day He had probably falleu off from the evening train on the Utah Southern road and through the tressle-work at this point, a distance of fifteen or twenty feet. He had-a severe gash cut in his head, and was very bloody. In the afternoon of Sunday he was recognized by some of the passengers on the train ai a man named David Lynch, who had lived four or five years at Bingham. It appears that he got on the train at Little Cottonwood Cotton-wood and was probably intoxicated. Dr. Hamilton was sent for to this city, and by hia advice the man was onvcyed last night to St. Mark's hospital. |
