MISS JOYCE JACKSON IS MID-AUGUST BRIDE St. Paul' Methodist Church, Copperton, was setting for the marriage mar-riage Saturday evening, August 18, of Miss Joyce Jackson and Sherman C. Hatfiold. The Rev. Ada Duhigg solemnized the double ring ceremony, after which the couple greeted friends and relative at a reception at the church. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William H. Jackson, Copperton, Cop-perton, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hatfield, Hat-field, West Jordan. Attending the bride were Mrs. Lester HeaWy, matron of honor, and Mrs. Ward L. Warner, Miss Karen Hatfield, Miss D Ann Warner War-ner and Miss Debbie West. Roger J. Hatfield was best man and ushers were Perry Fredrick-son, Fredrick-son, Lloyd D. Boulton, Kenneth Dimond, Gary Hatfield and Bill Warner. The newly-weds honeymooned at Las Vegas, Nev., and are now making their home in West Jordan. child is survived by his parents, one brother and five sisters. Funeral Fun-eral services were held at the Brai-ley Brai-ley and Dorrance Chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. and interment was at West Lawn. Mrs. A. D. Bentley entertained her bridge club at her home in Bingham Wednesday evening. Prize Pri-ze at cards were won by Mrs. Jack Householder Jr., first; Mrs. Wally Swenson, second, and Mrs. A. J. Sargent, consolation. Birthdays of the following members Mrs. Phil Sanderson, Mrs. Verio Kendrick apd Mrs. Boyd Andeison wer also celebrated during the evening. Very lovely refreshments were served ser-ved by the hostess. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Adamek of West Jordan over last week end were Mr. Adamek brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Adamek, Jr., from Olathe, Kansas. The visitors came Saturday afternoon and stayed until un-til Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Zane Dumont and family, JoLen, Ricky, Larry, and Kelly have moved from Midvale to 2005 W. 10400 South in South Jordan. Mrs. Dumont will be remembered re-membered as the former Joyce Miller, daughter of lr. and Mrs. Leonard Miller of Lark. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Sullenger and daughter, Stanlie Rae, of Copperton Cop-perton returned last Saturday from a trip to the northwest where they visited with Mrs. Sullenger' daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. C. L. Aberge and family fam-ily at Mercur Island, end the Seattle World's Fair. Joe Loverich returned home from a two weeks' stay with his sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. George Piedmont at Vantage, Wash. He also visited the world's fair in Seattle and stopped over in Spokane to viait a cousin. Commander and Mrs. Russell Sullenger an dsons, Terry and Kent, arrived last Thursday, Aug. 16, from Honolulu, Hawaii, where they have been residing the past 3 Vl years while stationed there with the U. S. Navy, to viait Comdr. Sullenger' s mother and sister, Mrs. Helen Sullenger and Agnes of Midvale and brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sullenger of Riverton and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Sullenger and dau-. g-hter of Copperton. Comdr. Sullenger, Sul-lenger, his wife and son, Kent, are leaving this week end for his new assignment at Great Lakes, Illinois where he will be administrative officer of-ficer at the U. S. Naval Training Center' there. Terry will remain with his grandmother until Sept. 1 4 when he will leave for Albuquerque, Albu-querque, New Mexico, to go to college. Fred C. Venable of Christ's metho-diat metho-diat Church. Setting for the nuptials and garden gar-den party was the home of the bride's sister .and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gus L. Hatch, 92 Cyprus St., Copperton. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mannion, 99 West Park St., Copperton. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Scipio J. Kenner of Solina, Kans., formerly of Bingham Canyon. Matron of honor was the bride s sister, Mrs. Daniel Delaney. John Bolic of New Orleans, La., stood as best man for the bridegroom. bride-groom. Hawkins of Bingham received word that their grandson, William Joseph Harsh-barge Harsh-barge r, two-month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Harshbarger, 2531 Perkins Ave., East Omaha, Nebr., was found dead by his sister about 8:30 a.m. last Thursday. The child died apparently during the night. Acting County Cproner George Sullivan said an autopsy has been ordered. Mr. Sullivan said Mrs. Harshbarger told him that she put the child to bed with a brother, John, 4, and a sister, Glenda, I, Wednesday night. The baby did not respond when another sister, Katherine, 8, tried to awaken. The , home Monday after spending six weeks in Sacramento, Calif., with her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smilanich. Martha Circle met Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Irene Frazier in Salt Lake City with Mrs. Myra La rick hostess. A very lovely one o'clock luncheon was served after which a business meeting was held and bridge was played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Mary Zaccaria, Mrs. Frazier, Mrs. Ida Bolman, Mrs. Otthelia Barkle and Mrs. Charlotte Murano. Other members attending were Jessie Trevarthen and Mary Robertson visiting here from Long Beach, Calif., Mrt.
