Show ORIENTAL TRADE SH0WSETF0RS.L A vicarious trip to the Orient will be possible for every Utah family fa-mily when' "Oriental Holiday", Utah's first oriental import trade show is presented at the Terrace, 464 South Main, over the Labor Day week end, August 3 1 to September Sep-tember 3 inclusive, Tats Misaka, Japanese American Citizens League president in Salt Lake City, announced an-nounced this week. "Almost everyone has dreamed at one time or another of taking an "Oriental Holiday", Mr. Misaka explained. "Now this dream can come true in an extraordinary fashion," fash-ion," he added. Presented in cooperation with Japanese American Citizens League and the Inter-cultural Center, it will be a treat for every member of the family. Cultural, educational and commercial com-mercial exhibits from Japan and other areas of the orient have been brought together at considerable expense to illustrate the Orient of today and yesterday. Hourly entertainment is scheduled schedul-ed including oriental dancing, an oriental fashion show, judo exhibitions, exhi-bitions, art exhibitions plus oriental orien-tal music played on instruments from the Far East. A unique teahouse tea-house will add to the charm of this unusual show, the Japanese league official related. |
