Show YOUNG ARTISTS MUSIC FESTIVAL HELD The Young Artists Music Festival of the Duchesne Second Ward presented fifteen numbers last Wednesday night for their program. Piano solos were played by Linda Wright, Linda Peatross, and Wendy Broadhead. A piano duct was played by Gloria White and Leesa Poulson. Poul-son. Vocal soloists were Elden R. Wilcken and Carol Moss. Dennis Freeman and Kent Birch played a trombone duet; Kent Birch and Mrs. Amanda Burraston presented a piano-organ piano-organ duet; Claudia Davies gave a musical reading, "A Poor Wayfaring Man", accompanied accomp-anied at the piano by Carol Moss. Other singers included the scouts, the adult class, a double quartette, comprised of Dennis Freeman, Galen Hooper, Lynn Poulson, Kenneth Farnsworth, Farns-worth, Laurel Hooper, Carol Moss, Shauna Freeman, Colleen Col-leen Freeman, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Burraston. Shauna Freeman played the guitar accompaniment and sang frYouH Never Walk Alone. 11 'Someone Special" was the title of the vocal number num-ber by Bishop Neill C. Jensen, Shauna Jensen, Kermit Poulson, Leesa Poulon, Leland Wright, Linda Wright, Keith Hooper, and Laurel Hooper. Julia Potter played two accordian solos. The MIA Maids and Laurels sang "Tonight" and "My Favorite Things". Miss Carol Moss was in charge of the program. |
