Show Briefs The Dean Bench family were out Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Tatton Bench. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gelbert and family of Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Gam Gilbert and family from Michigan, botH formerly of Arcadia, attended Conference last Sunday. The Gam Gilbert family accompanied Mrs. Gilbert's mother, Mrs. Burt Lusty. Mrs. Helen B. Odekirk returned re-turned Wednesday morning from a six -day trip to Salt Lake City. She went to the Capitol City with Mrs. Mary Stroud, the district nurse assigned to this area by the State Department Depart-ment of Health. While in Salt Lake, she took care of sick folk at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Palmer. Mrs. Carrie Hatch had Bessie Kohl and Hildur Brooks for dinner Sunday. Vivian Jenkens is on the sick list this week. Her mother Alice. Summers, has been taking Oe of the household chores Neva1 asmussen spent Monday Mon-day in Roosevelt shopping and visiting. Howard Taylor left Saturday January 29th, for Vietnam where he will spend one year, after enlisting for three years. Carol Thomas was honored at a baby shower Friday that was hosted by her sister, Normd Earl, her mother, Zella Grant, and two sisters-in-law, Morna Grant and Jo Ann Grant. She received many gifts from her friends. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Muse and family were out for the weekend visiting with family and friends. |
