I Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schultz Reception In First, Ward Honors Coup e Wed In Manti Temple Taking a prominent place in nuptial news of the week is the marriage of Miss Myrle Holt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Enoch A. Holt of -Springville, and Richard D. Schultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Casto F.$ Schultz of Provo. The double ring ceremony took place on January 11 in the Manti temple, and on Thursday evening following the young couple were honored with a reception in the First ward church. The bride chose for her wedding attire a beautiful eggshell satin, styled with long pointed sleeves, flowing train and brocaded yoke trimmed with seed pearls and lace. Her finger-tip veil hung from a crown of seed-pearls. She carried car-ried a lovely bouquet of white . lilies and red roses. ' Attending as maid of honor was Miss Norma Jean Schultz of Provo, Pro-vo, sister of the groom, and bridesmaids brides-maids were Mrs. Raymond Bas-tian, Bas-tian, Mrs. ' Kenneth Lowe, Mrs. Virgil Stubbs and Mrs. Dean Hib-bert. Hib-bert. All were attired in pastel formals with matching bouquets. Best man to the groom was Her-rick Her-rick Muhlestein of Provo. Also in the receiving line were parents of the bridge and groom. Mrs. Holt chose to wear a flowered silk with gardenia corsage, and Mrs. Schultz pink crepe with gardenia gar-denia corsage. Mrs. Lawrence Sutherland was receptionist for the evening. In charge of the gifts were Mrs. Morris Mor-ris Menlove, -Mrs. Arthur Hatfield and Mrs. Charles Shepherd. During the reception the guests enjoyed a well arranged program and refreshments, the latter being under direction of Mrs. Dave Dove, Mrs. Robert Dove and Mrs. Charles Schultz, with Miss Joye Shepherd, Miss Leah Mae Averett and Miss Maurine Menlove serving. serv-ing. Leo Felix . acted as master of ceremonies and announced the following fol-lowing program: Vocal solo, Golden Gol-den Hansen; reading, Afton Ash; vocal solos, Mrs. R. W. Bradford; reading, Eli Tippetts; solo, Carol Jean Loveridge; reading, Schultz; I remarks, C. H. Muhlestein; violin solo, Gordon Childs. A toast to the bride was given by Evon Averett, and a toast to the groom by Tell Muhlestein. , ' The new Mrs. Schultz is a graduate gradu-ate of the Springville high school and seminary. Mr. Schultz served 22 months with the U. S. Navy, a year of the time overseas. He is a former student of the Provo high school. Both young people are employed em-ployed in Provo and are making their home for the present in Springville. |
