Show FAYETTE NEWS ITEMS. The farmers and beet growers are rejoicing over the receipt of the turkey turk-ey and beet checks. Ada and Gerold Bartholomew of Ephraim and Pocatello, Idaho res-! spectively, were visiting with friends here this week. j I Stephen Merchant of Peoa, and the Misses Jensen of Salina, were guests of friends in town last Sunday. E. J. Mellor and family and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Christensen, spent Thanksgiving Day with relatives in Gunnison. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Bartholomew and children, spent Thanksgiving week in Goshen. Word has been received here that Mr. and Mrs. Will Peterson of Fillmore, Fill-more, former residents of Fayette, are the proud parents of a baby girl, born November 25th. Mrs. Eliza R. Bartholomew of Gunnison, Gun-nison, who spent the past week here, motored to Fillmore last Sunday. Last Friday night the members of the Fayette school gave a program and dance. The affair proved most enjoyable and all had a good time. Mrs. J. S. Bartholomew was a traveler trav-eler to Fillmore Monday of this week. She was visiting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Elijah James and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Olsen were called to Ephraim Tuesday on account of the illness of Vernal Gee, formerly of Fayette. Vernal is suffering from an attack of pneumonia and a broken limb. Mr. and Mrs. Antone Olsen are receiving re-ceiving the congratulations of their friends over the arrival of a fine baby girl born to them Tuesday of this week. All are doing nicely. |
