Prior to Friday evening's entertainment, local restaurants want patrons and neighbors to come sample the "Taste of Panguitch" with food samples offered at the lawn area adjacent to Zions Bank. Costs are $5 per person or $25 per family. On Saturday, Panguitch resident resi-dent LaMar Jolley has generously generous-ly offered his private fishing pond at his Mountain Meadow Ranch property, one mile south of Panguitch, behind Roller Mill Hill as the site for Huckleberry Finn Day. The event is an activity activ-ity where kids 12 and under can come for free fishing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and possibly win prizes for the best Huck Finn costume, the biggest fish or the littlest fish. There will be hot dogs and drinks but children must be accompanied by an authorized adult, fishing pole and release form. |
