Show BRYAN WARD III CONFERENCE Annual ward conference for Bry- j an ward was held last Sunday, I with Keith C. Casper, counselor in Sugar House stake presidency, I presiding at both Sunday school and sacrament meeting sessions. Commencing Monday evening with a district missionary meeting, the conference sessions proceeded through the week with Primary, MIA, Relief Society and other meets. Donald Thiriot presided at the missionary meeting, at which high councilman Glen Thompson, district dis-trict president, Milton Garn, Bishop Lloyd T. Johnson, Bishop Kenneth W. Burnett spoke for a few minutes. min-utes. All Bryan ward officers and teachers, with their partners, met Friday evening for instruction and recreation. Neil Purdie, first counselor, coun-selor, spoke on the responsibilities of ward leaders. David Borg, high counselman Wilford Kimball and President Casper also spoke. A short musical program was em-ceed em-ceed by Rodger Gunn. "Building Family Unity" was the keynote of the concluding session ses-sion held Sunday evening. Speakers were Leslie Cook of the bishopric, George Thompson of the high council, coun-cil, Bishop Lloyd T. Johnson and President Keith C. Casper. It was noted by President Casper Cas-per there had been no less than 24 meetings held in the Bryan ward building during the week. |
