Wheatlty received a phone call Tuesday morning from their son, Airman 1st C. Zane Wheatley, who had just arrived in the states after having completed a two year assignment in Alaska. He phoned from the home of his sister, Katherine Hunsaker in Great Falls, Montana. He will visit ! for a while with his sisters and j brother and their families in Montana and will arrive here later this week. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johnson of Preston, Idaho were guests of their daughter, Mrs. Clarence Perry on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brower had as Sunday dinner guests Mr.- and Mrs. Bingham, Mrs. Brower's parents, of Preston, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fryer were in gait Lake City during the weekend. The Scout banquet was held at the grade school building on Tuesday evening under the direction of the ward Y.M.M.I.A. with James Barnard conducting. The eleven year old scouts, their leader, Leslie Smith, Scouts with Douglas Burbank and Jay Norr, Scoutmaster and the Explorer group with Wayne Fryer and Floyd Dunn as group leaders were present, as were parents of the boys. Stake leaders in attendance were Horace Barnard and Clarence Perry. Homer Marble acted as master of ceremonies and a delightful evening was enjoyed by nearly 100. Mrs. L. M.
