Show C6unty Commissioners. Board of County Commissioners met in regular session February 4th, 1007, full board present. Tho resignation of David Parkinson as register of vital statistics of Portage precinct was accepted upon motion of Chr. Valentino. Jos.E. Glbbs was appointed. ap-pointed. Communication form Ncphi A Anderson, Ander-son, clerk of Millard County regarding sheep assessed in Boxelder County which had ranged part of season 1000 lu Millard County was presented and referred to clerk; from Hockel Bland Book Company relative to estimate of shelves In Recorder's Recor-der's vault, upon motion of Mr. Hart tho clerk was instructed to notify said company to build according to bid or rescind contract, from W II Wattls re-grading re-grading land for road west of Corinne was presented and ordcrod filed. Tho bond of Sylvester Owen as constable cons-table of Malad precinct was approved. Tho clerk's, recorder's Htul sheriffs roports of fees collected durlug January 1007, and auditors report of incidental expenses durlug January were read and approved. Wallis Patterson, who had been summoned sum-moned to appear and show cause why his liquor license should uot be rovoked, appeared himself and by attorney J S Perry, Esq. A hearing was had and testimony of Joseph Josephson, ct al. given, whereupon motion of Mr. Hurt, tho llccnso of Wallace Pattcison was revoked. Messrs. Jos. A. West and WJ Hcaly, roprcsontlug tho Ogden and North Western Wes-tern Railroad Co., appeared In behalf of tho proposed franchise. An ordlnanco was passed by the Board rclatlvo to said Railroad Co. and each of the commissioners commis-sioners voted ayo thereto. J D Call, Esq,, appeared and asked that the monthly allowance of Geo. Gilbert, Gil-bert, Sou,, be raised; upon motion of Mr. Hart, it was raised to (10 per month. Tho following claims wcro deferred: O W Robblns, A M Porter, Jas. N. Hold-away, Hold-away, Alma Nelson aud Chas. E Foxlcy. Christina Madscu, county recorder, asked that appointment of Lou Horsloy as assistant when necessary, bo ratified. Upon motion of Chr. Valentino tho appointment ap-pointment was ratified at f 1.00 per day. Action on tho application of N J Valentino Val-entino ct al. for an allownnco of $10 per month for T R Thomas was deferred. Commulcatlon from Garland Mercantile Mercan-tile Co. rclatlvo to bills for thoso who recoived merchandise while under quarantine, quar-antine, was prcseutcd and referred to Mr. Hart for investigation. Wm. Parsons was, upon motion of Chr. Valentine, appointed road suporviosr of Wlilard district. Petition Chas. M Olsen ct al. asking that James W. Palmer bo oppolutcd road supevlsor of Park Valley district was deferred; of Jos. E Burton et al. asking that Ella James be appointed road supervisor of Park Valley district was, upon motion of Chr. Valentino, granted and Ella James was appointed road supervisor. Tho petition of Earnest Shaw ct al. asking that Jos. Peterson be appointed road supervisor of Snowvlllo district was, upon motion of Com, Hart gruutcd and Jos. Petcrou appointed; the petition of Thos. Hart. Upon motion of Chr. Valentino tho petition of Peter A Nebcker for tho county coun-ty to purchoso of surveyors instruments mm denied. Tho clerk was instructed to notify Mr, Ncbekcr, county surveyor, to survey and furnish description at once of tho two gravel pits, ono west of Garland and ono west of Riverside.
