Show PERSONAL. Mr. S. J. Friedman, one of the leading merchants of Hailey, Idaho, is in the city a few days on business. Mrs. W. L. Pickard, of this city, in company com-pany with Major Silva and wife, of Oden, left for Boston this morning. Mr. George Mastick, of Cleveland, Ohio, secretary of the White Sewing Machine Company, is in the city and is a guest of Mr. H. ii. Miller. Mr. G. H. Waterman is a disguised visitor from Evanston. But few knew him on the streets yesterday from having severed that luxurii nt mustache. lifv. D. L. Leonard, of Salt Lake, Superintendent Super-intendent of the Congregational missions, i arrived in the city this morning. He will ; remain here two Sundays and preach at the Congregational church, morning and even- , ins, on both days. Butte lnter-Mountain,3d. Judge J. R. McBride, one of the leadine ; members of the Salt Lake bar, Mr. B. G Ravbould, Secretary of the Alice company ; and Prof. Blake, one of the most prominent : mining men in the country, are all at Walk- erville, the guests of Mr. Hall. Mr. Rav- bould says that Butte has the finest climate ' and the most hospitable people and the biggest mines in the world, and speaks for Yla entire party when he says he is sorry that . he cannot reside here permanently.
