Show ' COMING AMUSEMENTS. "Iolauthe" to be Repeated Salvinl and the Milan Opera Company Com-pany in February. After the repetition of "Iolanthe" next Monday evening by the Salt Lake Opera Company, the music-loving public will center their interest on the event of the Milan Italian Opera Company, which is set for the last week in February. There is still some uncertainty as to the exact dates and the particular operas which the company will give here, but their repertoire re-pertoire embraces Faust, Trovatore, Tra-viata, Tra-viata, Lucia, Martha, Fra Diavolo and a number cf others almost equally popular, bo that the public is assured of a musical treat, whatever may be the selections. SALVDTI IN OTHELLO. The world-renowned Salvini will give one performance only, February 25th, in the Salt Lake Theatre. It has not been definitely decided what rates will obtain, but those adopted by the Emma Nevada concert are talked of as probable. - There is little doubt but a tremendous house will greet the appearance of the distinguished distin-guished tragedian, whatever the rates may be, although we think it advisable on all accounts that the management should secure moderate prices. Manager McKenzie is now in correspondence corres-pondence with eastern companies respecting respect-ing performances which may obtain dates as early as the 18th of the present month. |
