Show Temple of Honor "Surprise." About fifty persons assembled at the hall of American Temple of Honor No. 3, last evening, by a significant invitation. Shortly after their arrival the doors were thrown open and the party escorted into the hall, where a very tempting repast was spread, intended as a "Tit for Tat" for the surprise entertainment given by the lady members of the Order just three months ago. Ever since this surprise last October there has been" a growing disposition to reciprocate, and this was accomplished last evening in an exceedingly exceed-ingly pleasant manner. The entertainment entertain-ment was made interesting by speeches, songs, readings and recitations, and closed with a feeling that the "surprise" had afforded af-forded enjoyment to all present. |
