Show I OUR CLIMATE 4 The climate of Utah has been praised II far and wide and justly praised when the tclimate has been on its good behavior On a summers day is one stands by the lake he may see the islands in a mirage I f j and they seem double and their tops to t touch It is a beautiful sight although I i we know that things are only seemingly upside down and it is well that it is so I The climate of Utah also produces po litical mirages and many who stand on j Mho shore of Utahs troubled sea think i they behold the nation turned upside i down when in truth it is not That i 1 TMhich seems a universal upheaval is only a local mirage and will soon pass away and in its place will come the calm and serenity the lying day when the blue and the gold are most brilliant and the earth is adorned in the beauty of the rays of the setting sun which foretells of a 41 I glorious morrow Things will be more 411 quiet and peaceful after the present storm is over and we shall wonder how no fine ai day could succeed so fierce 1 I a night kow Now we are in the night but does any one doubt J of the morrow which will come If such there be sad must be their souls and their light is of the 1 past and not of I the future j Things are in a state of strife and turmoil but they will become 1 settled and that which now seems to f pervade all things will become precipitated precipi-tated and the sea above will be clearI t I < May the day when things shall be clear 11 and calm hasten its coming that once I j I state again all may be restored to a natural |
