Show I rile Printer Strike j MILWAUKEE Mich March 2he strike of the printers which took place here yesterday yester-day was the largest that has ever occurred in this city It includes all the compositors employed on three English daily papers and all those in the job offices with one excep tion About 250 printera are out The newspaper publishers have signed an agreement agree-ment pledging themselves to stand by each other and by the new men they employ They have made arrangements with the Printers Protective Fraternity and expect to have an adequate number before the close of the week That organization admits ad-mits to membership all nonunion men employed em-ployed in printing offices The result of the strike will probably be to break up the present Typographical Union here which for years past has controlled most of the printing establishments of this city |
