Show 1 ANOTHER ARREST I j James C Watson Arraigned for Unlawful Un-lawful Cohnbitntlon 5 It was surmised that the indictment presented by the Grand Jury last Saturday I Satur-day was against James C Watson the I nightwatchman and deyelopments today to-day proved this supposition to have been I correct Watson was arrested this afternoon after-noon by Deputy MarsharSprague and brought into court The indictment is for unlawful cohabitation cohab-itation and charges that James C Watson Wat-son on May 1st 1882 and on divers di-vers days and continuously thereafter thereaf-ter until January 1st 1885 did unlawfully live and cohabit with more than one woman namely with one Mary Condy Watson and with one Ellen Riley The witnesses are James C Wat eon Jr John Watson Ellen Riley Wat BOU Hugh Watson and Mrs Ellen Burt The indictment was read to Watson and he was allowed until May 1st to plead Bonds were furnished in the sum of 1500 Dr J M Benedict and Thos Dobson being accepted as sureties I |
