Show CEREAL AND STOCK CROP A General Increase and Fair Prices Ultli Light Movements CHICAGO Oct 4The following crop sum milTS will appear in this weeks issue of the amirs Jtevieiv The crop returns for the week in a general way show that corn is said to be well matured throughout the fiilire western belt and sufficiently to with htnnd the heavy frosts the last three days of the week In Missouri and Kentucky the corn is ready for husking and cribbing In Iowa and Illinois husking will begin about October 10th Reports showing the average yield do not vary but slightly from the former estimates which are considerably under those of the preceding live years The averages continue good for Ohio Indiana Indi-ana and Michigan and low in Wisconsin Missouri and Kansas Plowing for the fall sowing is progressing i and in many portions of Illinois Missouri Kansas and Kentucky is completed and some seeding has already been done The wheat movement in Dakota is now light a great deal of wheat having been marketed Ruling prices are fiO to 55 cents per bushel The movement is slow in Minnesota Min-nesota at 5T to G3 cents In Illinois very little wheat is being sold with prices at 05 to 75 cents In Iowa the wheat movement is fair at 50 and GO cents In Ohio considerable consid-erable wheat is being marketed at GO to 78 cents In Missouri the wheat movement has fallen off with ruling prices at 50 and 72 cents In Kansas there is scarcely any wheat moving with prices at 50 and 70 cents In Michigan wheat is freely marketed mar-keted at 09 to 73 cents In Wisconsin there is a fair movement at 05 to 75 cents The tenor of reports shows that hogs generally are healthy with a somewhat lighter ran than usual while cattle are looking better with improved pasturage |
