Show The Certificates Listed NEW YOBE June 9The party comprising oxTreasurer Jordan E K Willard and J B McCormick which has been making a hard fight to have tho certificates representing represent-ing silver bullion placed upon the regular list of the New York Stock Exchange have succeeded in their purpose The governing committee ot their meeting after an animated ani-mated discussion ordered that the silver bullion certificates be placed on the regular list and classified as mining affairs The certificates are for 1000 ounces of silver 1000 fine deposited with the Manhattan Trust Co of New York and registered with the Western National Bank Mr Man nings According to its terms no silver will be received less than 998 fine nor single bars weighing more than 1200 ounces although al-though barsof lower fineness will be taken and refined at the expense of tho depositor so as to bring tho silver up to tho standard requirements A charge of 25 cents is mado for each certificate issued and a storage rate of 1 cent a day will be charged for each 1000 ounces The Mercantile Safe Deposit Company will report the amount of bullion on hand every morning and the Western National Bank will also report the number of certificates registered and to be regis erod |
