Show I Fall Folio to be released read I Kathryn Jones Campus Editor The Folio reading and gallery is here once again and Amy Snyder literary editor for the up and coming issue Divinity is eager to spread the word All those who have published all students and faculty of friends and family are invited to attend she said Evidently there is quite the line up According to Snyder approximately submissions made their way through the literary door and all those published have been invited to read Published in the fall magazine are 15 favorites including the ever popular poetry Nine winning students were asked to display their artwork Though photography brought in the majority of art entries Snyder said painting illustrations and graphic design also made their way to the literary well Folio which made its debut in the spring of 1999 is published twice a year once in the spring and again in the fall allowing all creatively minded students to show others at lied VP zis J AGAZINE VOLUME 8 NUMB u R 1 a V JiD Y rr r V Vf Vr o r r rr f r 0 SO O. O r 0 00 o 00 00 0 1 Image mage courtesy of Folio Literary Magazine The fall edition of Folio Literary Magazine will be released on Nov 29 at ata a gala where will read and showcase their work th the college what they can do Run by the students the magazine garners help from Folio advisor Lynn Kilpatrick faculty administration as well as the Folio staff and its editors Something Snyder said she's happy to be a apart apart apart part of This debut magazine allows students to share their publication with friends family and peers she said Snyder admits that having the literary reading and gallery promotes submissions for next semesters semester's edition and she wants students to know that they are welcome not only to submit their work throughout the year but to join the staff She suggests students head to the web address if they are interested in either venture The hour long reading and gallery is a free event and will include free Folio copies as well as refreshments following the event Copies of Divinity can also be obtained at various vanous newspaper venues at within a few days after the reading The fall Folio reading and gallery will be held on Nov 29 from 3 2 pm p.m. in inthe inthe inthe the Science and Industry SI building Atrium |
