Show Receiving a Free Education By Suzanne Houghton Campus Editor Students across the state met atthe atthe at atthe the Utah State Capitol on February 12 to fight for their education Every year knowledge knowledge knowledge knowl knowl- edge seems to be coming at a steep price and students have to find alternatives to pay for school fees and books While some have the advantage to hand the bill over to their parents others oth oth others others ers work work work-up up to three jobs to pay for their full time class schedule The Salt Lake Community College has presented other options to students in providing financial aid While some view it as a free way to go to school others arent aren't even aware of the benefits of it A good number of students students dont don't believe they will qualify and therefore dont don't take the time timeto to fill out an application But a number of scholarships are awarded and the Financial Aid Department would like to see seemore seemore seemore more students take advantage of getting assistance with their edu edu- cation rt I t v it t H Ih 7 r 1 r. r 1 4 if i f t r i. i n t t 11 iL f 4 J.
