Show MY TOWN. I live her ein Bingham, no joke 1 ;.d mit Hii; beeaus it's not Heaven I won't throw a fit. I know the air e full of copper am! dust. But it others can stand it. why should I .-how disgust? What's the use of repining? Why - fchould I frown Ar- long as I live here ' why this is my town. We may of'en be homesick for the ' loved ones back home; But wv'll develop that sickness whereever wH roam. We've got some fine folks here, perhaps per-haps none of renown But about the same kind that wt had in our town. We've got some good men who are thinkiivg of others. Some excellent dads and a host of good mothers. I know . o.'ne square shooters who aim a! t!v clouds; And I'm sure all us fellows a''e proud of our Scouts. Then there's the Hangers who love their own tribe; And a host, of young people that no money can bribe. Our basket balj team sure stood itood the lest Some may think they're good, but we know they're th best. Our High School and Grad,. Schools are true to the letter. Our Churc' os are striving to lead men aright, And help them to see Him who is this world'j clear Light. They need your support. Join the Church of your choice. If you can't pay your thousands, you can boost with your voice, i i As I stated before to live here's noj joke; But there's something to Bingham besides sewers and smoke. Don't be an old knocker. Why wear such a frown? Just buckle right in and boost for YOUR town. I won't live here always; my lot is to roam. But as long as I stay here why Bingham's Bing-ham's my home. Should I leave this old earth those bells! How they'll ring 'um! When I tell old St. Peter that I've Just come from Bingham. |
