Show Electronics equipment gift David Canfield Feature Editor S The school year begins the need for AS A new updated equipment becomes ap ap- ap- ap parent Bosch Corporation has has- helped update its equipment by donating a truckload of new electronics The equipment will be used in a variety of areas and departments including electronics communications and early childhood development The early childhood development program will use their share for educating the children in the use of computers The electronics department will also receive some of the new equipment Motors wires and fans as well as lab equipment will be used as teaching aids Fi Finally the communications department received some of the equipment According to Kelly Weldon most will be used as teaching aids and not directly by students in the TV production classes Some of the equipment includes a switcher panel pane and a working non-working camera with the casing removed to show the differences between camera types also received some studio equipment including routing equipment and switchers According to Weldon the equipment received by the communications department was b basically bash basi si- si cally components instead of being a complete complete complete com com- system but added that they provided equipment that the school couldn't afford to buy including 15 black and white monitors monitors' to be used in the television studio control room Weldon said that had a good working working working work work- ing relationship with Bosch Corporation |
