U While in college college college col col- col- col lege he played football and basketball Kiger is as avid golfer as aswell aswell aswell well and has competed in the Utah Amateur Finals Steve Kiger is an integral part of BRUIN basketball While maintaining 16 hours of classes he also serves as assistant coach and personal mentor for the for the players Kiger has followed his fathers father's footsteps in the field of psychology and applies this expertise to helping his players Along with his skills in psychology and knowledge in sports Kiger has lived in various various' parts of the country which gives him the diverse background his job demands When a player needs help with a class or is having problems in any aspect of school or social life Steve is the man who can help Kiger looks at developing the team from a marketing point of view He states It is tough to measure success As coaches we have to move with th these se kids We are a family here not just the players but he entire staff and Kiger Has been actively involved with the basketball program for three years j w wyl l J Hr I k l 6 Photo By Bonnie Barker n J.
