Smout better known as Curt was selected as the College Center Director in hi 1973 Prior to that time he was coordinator coordinator coordinator coor coor- of student government at Weber State College in Ogden Some of Curts Curt's responsibilities ties include administrating the daily affairs of the Coll College ge Center Center Cen Cen- ter acting as chairman of the College Center Board serving asan as asan asan an advisor to student government government government govern govern- ment and working with many campus individuals in planning and promoting various campus activities Curt was a student officer at We Weber ei State College he wont won't say how long ago where he graduated with a BS degree in Business Management He enjoys his relationship with everyone here at Utah Technical College at Salt Lake and regrets that there are not more hours in inthe inthe inthe the day to become better acquainted acquainted acquainted ac ac- ac- ac with more of the students students students stu stu- stu- stu dents on campus Curtis is well known in the student student student stu stu- stu- stu dent activity field not only in Utah but in several western states He is currently serving as the Two Year College Coordinator Coordinator Coordinator for Region 13 Utah Wyoming Wyoming Wyoming Wy Wy- oming Colorado New Mexico Arizona of the Association of College Unions Curtis stated that he feels the main purpose of the College Center Center Center Cen Cen- ter is to bring everyone together together together er regardless of background interests and desires and is attempting attempting attempting at at- tempting to establish some activities activities activities to accomplish that pur pur- pose As to the new student officers his comment was I hope they will take the time to do their homework before they undertake undertake undertake under under- take any big project He was also quick to add that he is looking forward to working with the new officers |
