Show r i. i Students Join Wheelchair ir Marathon u. i. i by Patricia Pritchett Nine students participating in the Hig Highway way to Learning Wheelchair Marathon and wear special T shirts offin off the school van in wearing took v van se search of of- the big race Following the route up State Street they turned on 2nd South and continued d past the Salt Palace then followed the route past the Triad Center and on on up to North students spott spotted d a van from Weber with a bann banner r on the side designating it as part of the Marathon Marath group Students from Weber had followed follow the wh wheelchair since the start of the race at Utah State State in Logan at 5 am a.m. They rhey would continue with the race until it reached Provo with the theBY BYU U. U students S Schools involved in taking the single wheelchair on the route route mile were Utah State Weber College University of Utah Snow C College lege Salt Lake and BYU Students collected pledges for part participating in the mar marathon thon students collected pledges which will be split 50 50 SO between helping helping- handicapped students and Handicapped Adults in Utah Yates alone e raised over took pictures of the wheelchair exchange between the U of U U. and Snow near near the Salt Palace students were not about to be left out of this super publicity and joined in ip the race on foot f ot just in time for the camera JL g students picked up the chair hair at South State and were to deliver i it to A t. t r BY BYU U.
