| Show Sports by Kevin Riley Sports Editor Flag football started off all wet Wednesday as Welding Arc defeated the Nosey Bunch 28 The game was one of sharp contrast as it looked like the Nosey Bunch would demolish the Arc with its large size advantage up front The score at the half was 8 6 with the Bunch holding the advantage In the second half it was a complete turnaround with the smaller offensive line of the Arcs blocking superbly and opening holes even larger than those of Animal House Those holes opened up the field and produced runs of 25 and 30 yards for a touchdown The final score was Welding Arc 28 In all flag games as aswell aswell aswell well as regular games a referee is needed to call all penalties and place the ball at the line of scrim- scrim age A ref should call the penalties as he sees them but he should be fair in calling them A referee like Richard has to learn that wiggling your behind on the line does not cause illegal motion Rich be fair |
