Show 1 v I y 4 a r I Ik k r r F Glenn Yarbrough center with Lou Gottlieb left and Alex Ales Hassilev bring the Reunion 73 to Utah Tech Friday May lay 25 at 8 pm p.m. GRAY G R RA A Y MATTER M MAT A T T TE E R by TERRY GRAY The school year is coming to an end not too soon either and tears begin to swell in my eyes thinking of the Hell weve we've gone one through This will wi will l probably be the thelast thelast thelast last regular issue issue of Tech Topics for this school year so this will be my last column I Iwonder Iwonder Iwonder wonder if Ann Landers ever thinks of retirement As I sit here and reminisce about the school year I remember our fantastic Hawaiian Luau held last summer It was a success except for one small problem We Te planned to serve people and showed up Oh well It was yas fun sharing my half a cup of fried rice with four other people The Hello Breakfast was another great success except one of our butane cookers burned a hole all the way through the table it was sitting on The C Christmas assembly was the envy of Hollywood movie makers Connie Ulibarri should be on the US U.S. Negotiating Team I mean who else could talk the puppy hush princess into wearing red reCI ballet tights and posing as Santa Claus Glaus The Sub-For-Santa Sub program was another success Almost was raised by students to help underprivileged kids and their families Thanks to everyone who helped and ga gave v e. e The basketball team wherever they arc are did a real bang up job Their coach loose dribble Ballard did a fine job The players were all over six six feet The coach is under five feet It doesn't make sense Who can ever forget the Universal Gym I sure cant can't The Club was extremely active this year They had a lot of great fund und fundraising fundraising raising raisin raising programs Club advisor Mrs Beebe did a fine job The bowling league was another success The league was very active If you oU dont don't believe it just c cluck the increased sales at the State State- Liquor Commission The Spring Brunch was overwhelming 1800 people served with only 7 fatalities I graduate this quarter and Im I'm really going to miss this place The famous famous Taylorsville Santa Anna winds that blow the taking breath-taking spine tin tingling ling rides through the parking paring lot looking for a parking arking place and of course Ill I'll II miss the delicious and nourishing food in the cafeteria Ill I'll miss the grouchy peo people le in the Financial Aids Office and the thick fog-thick smoke in the cafeteria Ill I'll miss our famous security cop and our speedy registration office Ill I'll miss J Jesse esse kunewa's Kunewa's sun glasses and Ron Ollis' Ollis white shoes Ill I'll miss the noisy construction and the even more noisy library Ill I'll miss miss the neck breaking li lightning g fast elevators in the an anthe and the thrill-packed thrill horse shoe pitching contests All things considered this has been a pretty great year We Te all owe a lot to the fantastic an instructors and staff These people arc are the foundation of They deserve a lot of credit L i ia a i o Utah Tech's two-man two team entry in the Plymouth Trouble TroubleShooting I Shooting Contest took second place They are from the left Richard Riehard M.
