Show oo 00 BLAN BLANDING D I 1 TN G 00 VET AND THORA BRADFORD RETURN HOME FROM TRIP TO NORTHWEST mr and mrs vet bradford returned two weeks ago from a two week trip to the northwest they were accompanied by mr and mrs david P black parents of mrs bradford and geneva steele sister their main destination sti nation was a visit to blain bradford and his wife dorothy and two children at richland wash but they took time to enjoy all the sights along the way to mr bradford one of the grandest sights of the whole trip was the place in washington where the columbia snake walla walla and yakima rivers rivers come together the government is making a largo large dam called the mcnary jus just t below where the rivers rivers merge A dream of long standing was realized by mrs theda black when the group arrived at the mormon temple in cardston bardston Card ston canada guides showed them every detail of the beautiful building and the visitors were greatly impressed by the beauty of the woodwork much of it inlaid mrs bradford mentioned especially ally the beautiful cities built in the tall pines on hill sides the rivers lakes canals and water of every kind on most of the rivers logs were floating to tile the big sawmills they saw glacier national park in montana at idaho falls they stayed a short time with lew bradford vets brother who runs the largest hotel in that area and one of the three largest in idaho there mr and mrs black were escorted to one of the largest suites in the hotel known as the bridal suite in idaho they saw large fields of sacked onions so close together that someone declared they had to rent extra ground to put them on in washington the large fields of wheat mint an and grapes were an ion they visited relatives of mrs black at new plymouth idaho and at mountain home idaho they called on an relatives of mr black the young bradfordt Bradt Brad fords accompanied the utah group to canada and ciack to their home at richland when the group arrived home they hard traveled miles a and nd they had loved every minute they took it sic slow v enough that tile the older people were never over tired |
