Show recipe column 0 by ann porter when we have pork chops we serve them stuffed try them and I 1 am sure the whole family will agree it is the best dish they have ever tried the recipe came from L ouie louie frost years ago when she cooked an anniversary dinner A group of us girls served the dinner and the pork chops were so delicious I 1 have always served them this way STUFFED PORK CHOPS I 1 pork chop per person and have your butcher cut the chops extra thick enough of your favorite bread dressing to allow ai S cup for each person take a sharp knife and slice the meaty side of your chop to the bone if you have frozen chops do this before they are completely thawed and it is much easier now fill this pocket with the dressing salt and pepper and brown in hot fat now put them on a 2 rack in a p pan an with a small amount of water in it and let simmer at very low heat for 45 minutes to one hour serve with apple sauce if desired |
